
Farideh D. Manshadi (Ph.D.) Physiotherapist
Farideh D. Manshadi, Ph.D., is a registered physiotherapist with a specialization in pelvic health. With over two decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to rehabilitation sciences. Farideh holds a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy from Iran University of Medical Sciences, focusing on Pelvic Health, along with an MSc and BSc in Physiotherapy from Tarbiat Modares University and Iran University of Medical Sciences respectively.
She has pursued additional training in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation and Conservative Management, Pelvic Floor Muscle Training, and Advanced Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, among others. Her treatment interests encompass a wide range of pathologies and conditions, including pelvic health, women's health, orthopedics, musculoskeletal, and neurological disorders.
Farideh's professional journey began as a university instructor at Shahid Beheshti Medical University in Tehran, Iran, after completing her Master's degree. Throughout her career, she has worked in various academic and healthcare settings, including university hospitals and research centers. Her expertise spans orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation to neurological conditions.
Recognizing the importance of addressing pelvic health issues, Farideh shifted her focus to pelvic health physiotherapy in 2007. Her dedication led her to defend her Ph.D. dissertation on pelvic floor dysfunction and ultrasonography in 2010.
In addition to clinical practice, Farideh is a university associate professor, mentoring future physiotherapists and contributing to the advancement of the field through research and education. She has published numerous articles in scientific journals and presented her findings at international conferences.
Farideh believes in employing a holistic approach, combining skillful hands-on techniques with knowledge and experience to improve patients' quality of life. Her passion for lifelong learning drives her to seek new challenges and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Farideh enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, meeting new people, and traveling. Writing an autobiography is among her aspirations.
